Last night my textures suddenly went black. not all of them but enough to become annoying. Some outfits I wear make my limbs completely black. sometimes the floor of my home is black, other times it's the walls, or alpha textures disappear. I have changed nothing on my PC or laptop but it is doing it on both where as before last night it was fine.
Is this affecting anyone else?

Ive been experiencing this at least once a day now. Usually on my ava - I hit cntl-alt-R and it's gone. But, it has been a regular occurance.

CTRL, ALT R isn't working and i can't use that on my home, i assume lindens have been making 'improvements' again and this is a side-effect

I had a somewhat similar problem where the ground textures were randomly showing as coral in odd rectangular patches. Clearing cache sorted it.

Rebake Textures

My avi turning black either in part or in whole has happened a few times in the last few weeks. I have gotten her back to normal by rebaking: Advanced--->Character---->Rebake Textures, although sometimes I need to do it more than once. It completely freaked me out the first time it happened.

I have the same problem than Naiyah. The thing is that we don't talk only about the avatar turning black, wich is a more common problem. It's a lot of textures around turning black. If I stay in the same place then the place will disappear totally in black, avatar included... I post a ticket but still the answer of the technicians didn't solve it:I'm not using two monitors, I have empty the cache, I rebake... I still can't play  Anybody has a clue ??? |
