This is the second fricken time this has happened to me.
I don't even think I've ever opened this script since I made it, I don't know why the hell this would happen.
Is there STILL no way of getting my script back?

Try again in a few hours..
http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/10/12/inventory-loss-reduction-initiaitive/ ... When you get an “Object cannot be found in inventory” error message, asset collection might be the cause. Fortunately, we have a program that is watching and puts the item back in your inventory within an hour if we still have it. So next time you get this error, do be sure to check back in an hour. We have just kicked off a project to improve asset collection to fix the underlying problem of accidentally collecting assets still in use. ... /me crosses her fingers for you. |

I write and save all my scripts on my own computer in a text editor, rather than trust them to the asset server thing. Just copy / paste them into SL when done or ready for testing. Or vice versa, write them in SL but copy / paste them onto your own computer for safekeeping.
It won't help you rescue your missing script now, but if you save your scripts to your own hard drive then next time SL loses a script you can just copy it out of your backup. -Atashi _____________________

Does anyone know if this applies to scripts that are within objects? This was a script for a little bell I wore around my neck that counted the number of times people rang it and stuff. I never made copies of the bell, and I always wore the same bell without ever restarting the script, so that the count would stay consistent. EDIT: ZOMG holy shit it came back o.O;;;; |
