No. Under the file tab there are some filters you can use to narrow your search but that's about it other than the few ways you can sort under "Sort".

Yes you can, enter one or more of the following into the text entry box:

(no copy)
(no modify)
(no transfer)

or combinations thereof,

that will narrow the list to those items which match

Oh sheesh ... why didn't I know that lol. I guess I always thought that permissions in orange weren't a sortable parameter and only the actual name was. Good tip.

But that does not help if I want to find all items that are Transfer or are Modify, etc.

I want to filter by creator and by date range and I want to filter clothing items by type of clothing layer and I want a freakin undo button for when I accidentally drag and drop in inventory.

/end inventory rant

That would be so useful. I'd like the properties box you get by right-clicking to do a lot more too ...

objects - how many prims?
animations - priority?
textures - size? alpha layer?

yeah that would be super handy and it's too bad we can't use boolean logic in our searches like you would in a google search.

I think the reason we dont get all those sort features is the inventory list you see on your screen is just the item names which are stored in your local cache. The other item data is only fetched when you actually open the properties or edit windows. I know this cause it's blank sometimes for a while when we have lag going on.

Now, an advanced menu item or script to go through all your inventory items, fetch all the available data, and output it in some useable format to sort with a database would be very useful.
