I've read and understood the post regarding permissions in FAQ sticky above, but I'm having a bit of frustration. I read somewhere that you have to select every individual prim and set each to the permission you want. Selecting them all at once won't do? If so then for a 40 or more prim structure this would be intolerable. I'm also having trouble with at least one script that is no modify. It has someone else's name on it but it is copyable. It is the ubiquitous posing stand script, which I assumed would be available anywhere, though I haven't found one that is modifyable. Is it bad form to incorporate such into a build you may want to sell? Must you find your own version of the script?

If the prims are linked together, you can set the permissions for the entire link set at once.
Usually, scripts intended for resellers are "no modify" only - because if they weren't, they would be full perms, and then you could read the source code, or cut and paste it to have a version of the script listing yourself as Creator. As long as you have permission to use it in your build, it shouldn't be a problem to do so.

There are pose scripts around. This is in the scripting library: /15/88/130852/1.html

I did finally find a full perm posing script in world and now the permssions read the way I intended. Thanks for the advise. This was just a dry run on a very low prim item. I shudder to face the couple of houses I want to box up . . . . But presumably some of the textures and scripts can be mod and some not, and that would work fine.
