Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help, i filed an abuse report a couple of weeks ago and was wondering how do i see if anything has come of it?. I know that i can see the 25 most recent reports that have been acted on, but what about older ones?

Thanks

You'll never see the resolution on it. They keep that info private.

Really, there is nowhere to see if it has been acted on?. Doesnt really seem fair that.

Put yourself in their shoes. Would you want the world to know the status of your account? if someone is ARing you unjustly, do you want them to know whether their efforts succeeded or failed? If you really did break the rules, do you really want public disclosure?

Very fair, I think.

Residents are not in a position to police the grid, regardless of what position they claim to hold. The Abuse Report system is a way to allow us residents to report violators of the Terms of Service and allow the Lindens to take appropriate action to enforce their terms. (^_^)

The reason we're not informed directly of the result of an AR is out of the respect of the privacy of each an every resident, regardless of their behavior. We're not allowed to make new rules on the fly, or simply AR someone for being a nutjob. So, the outcome of an AR should be based on the cold-hard-facts of the matter and how it applies to the TOS. (^_^)

If it's "justice" you're looking for. You'll be sorely disappointed at every level. (^_^)y

I am not looking for justice just wondered if anything had been done, i have kept away from the individual and plan to keep doing that in future. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Sorry for sounding thick, but how do you view the last 25 acted upon

It seems like they keep making that harder and harder to find. It used to be called the Police Blotter. Now it is called the Incident Report, its under "support".
