The loop I bought a year ago cycled way too fast and all tossing hair and such.... anyone know of a female animator that just does a gentle folded arms then hand on hip or something? Slowly. The loops I've found just make you look demented.

I'm still using the one that was recommended to me my first week in SL - the Reverie Ultima AO. (I have since taken the poses and put them in a ZHAO-II - but the AO poses are the same.)

It has natural, feminine, fluid transitions that are poses I would normally do in RL.

I like Outrider a lot. Did you check out Abramations AO?

It would be interesting to know which ones you checked out and what you thought of them.

For a free one check out E. Watkins Premier Equestrian Supplies in Nishi Azabu. The AOs -one male and one female- are at the very top of the stairs. And don't let the name of the store put you off; they're actually bloody good AOs, for freebies. The loops are slow, not at all jerky, and the movements seem natural and not 'showy'. From memory they're ZHAO-based, and also modifiable, so you can add other animations to them.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Outrider has been my favorite for almost 2 years now. It's very realistic and subtle. No static stands...all are nicely animated.

After doing an extensive search on the Reverie Female Ultimate AO per request and finding nada in search, on SLexchange nor under Francis Chung who was the designer of the Wet Ikon AO that the Reverie was housed inside, I pulled my Reverie apart and saw that Torrid Midnight is the creator of the poses *within* my Reverie.

I have a feeling that whoever was marketing under the Reverie name is gone now and the Torrid AO is similar to what I have. (At least the SLexchange listing looked similar).

I've marketed the Reverie name since 2004, but recently I've been making more of a comeback under a different name (Golden Leaf). The shop is still there in Chartreuse with the Reverie AO there, and I've been trying to churn out more products. I'll try to make it a bit easier to find somehow - Torrid has the HUD version at her shop (also in Chartreuse).

I don't want to self-promote, so let's just say I didn't like any of the fidgety AO's either, LOL

I just wanted to make something that breathed, stood naturally (a hand on the hip, both behind but not crossed since that appears stand-offish and won't match different avatar sizes) and didn't change exactly every 40 seconds (a feature Ziggy liked and subsequently added to the ZHAO-II actually) with no silly repetitive loops actually...some of my poses might look different next time around!

Just nice natural poses and stands... ;)

For some reason your name doesn't ring a bell when I racked my brain trying to recall the shop where I purchased my Reverie. (Not saying you aren't, just didn't recall that name.) The shop I went to had the Reverie Ultimates in the front, then individual types around the sides. (And I'm kicking myself I didn't keep a lm, but I could always find it under a search using the term "Reverie."

Are you the one who marketed the Reverie Ultimates in the Francis Chung Wet Ikon AO? When I finally found the Torrid poses, I recognized many of them as the ones in my Reverie Ultimate, but now just sold as individual poses.

EDIT TO ADD: I just went online and checked your profile and I do see the Reverie Ultimate listed there. And it was very popular, especially among the role play group I was initially in.

On the ground floor now, in a corner.
