Hi... I love SL and it has litterally saved my life, because of being disabled - it has given me my life "back" and THEN SOME!
I do have a question I can't find the answer to... when I buy Lindin dollars it always says it will charge my account such and such amount, but the amount on my RL credit card is always for the full amount. Example: I buy $20 worth of L dollars...and it SAYS my card will be charged $19.47 or whatever the exchange rate is...but my card always is actually charged the full amount.
I don't mind, I just don't understand why or how it can say my card will be charged less, then it is actually charged the full amount. I don't own land, I rent... and I spend a lot in SL... does anyone know where to find this answer?
Thank you,
LyneMarie

That message is telling you what portion of your purchase actually went to buy the Lindens; the remainder is a fee associated with the purchase. So, using your example, $19.47 was converted to L$ and $.53 was the fee on that purchase. Edit: I just looked up the specifics...it's $.30 per transaction for the LindeX. http://www.secondlife.com/currency/describe-transaction-fees.php

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.
