one of my closer friends lost her land, she knew she was because she didnt have enough money to pay the teir. but now all her stuff she cant get back. she thinks the sim owner has them. he is a total jerk to her for no reason all the time, and has been known to steal prims away from land.

is it possible for a sim owner to take things that are on the sim that were rezzed by people that rent the sim?

she has tried to contact him but he wont respond. just ignors her all the time.

From my experience even if he had mod right on your friends stuff he can't take it back into his inventory. If you freind can't get back to the area to take the stuff back, i would suggest possibly someone going to that area and looking for the items, and if they have mod rights they can return them. Or they can use an alt with mod rights to do this.

Did she check her Lost and Found folder? Or possibly Objects? If the sim owner returned all of her items at once, they'd likely be coalesced into one object, possibly with the name of just one of her items. They're all still there, but she'll need to go to a sandbox, rez the coalesced object, and then take the items back one by one to separate them.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

ya they can't take another owners items..all the owner could do is delete them from the land which would actually return them to her anyways..have her do a cache clean then just type in the top of the inventory search for her items she lost and chances are she may find them there ..

Shinru, the coalesced object will have an icon that looks like a little pile of boxes instead of just one box. It will be named for any one of the the returned objects, for example "Pose Stand" or "Object".

The estate owner can simple hit the "return" button next to her name on the Objects tab of the land menu, and all of her stuff will show up in her inventory as a single coalesced object. If it isn't there, and her objects still appear to be on the land, she should ask the estate owner to "Return" her stuff.

If she deeded something to the land group (e.g. a radio or television), I think it may not return. But even if she "set" things to the land group, they should all come back.

If you have mod rights for someone you can take anything they have rezzed that's transfer.

Any group member can also take transferable items set to that group and have "Shared with group" checked.

So, let's see... instead of picking her stuff up and abandoning the land because she KNEW she wouldn't be able to pay the tier, she left it there and let the land go into arrears.

Smart. Real smart.

If the stuff was deleted, check the trash.

Check the trash, in case the objects have been deleted.

if the sim owner is keeping her items, and not giving them back, because he is a total jerk and wouldnt doubt he is keeping her items, doesnt that mean he can be written up or filed?

If he has banned you from the land so you cannot just go there and take your objects back into inventory, then simply go to the next sim (or parcel) and send your camera into his sim (or parcel) and you can right-click and take back your objects that way.

Your friend misunderstood.

Sim owners CANNOT take someone elses stuff. They can only Return it. event if they select Delete, it should really be returned. If it got lost, it's LL's fault.

If your friend knew she was going to lose her land, it was her responsiblity to take all her stuff back.

she recently told me that the sim owner said he would let her pay till this tuesday and that she was going to pay him on sunday, but the sim owner broke his promis and took her land away anyways and along with all her things.

its ether he took them, or they havent been put into her invintory.

so what should she do then? trying to contact him is pointless because he ignors her.

There's always a warning about the chances of no transfer items being lost when you return but it may well be that they've returned as one job lot to their lost $ found folder and they don't realise that the different looking icon is multiple objects.

First off, I recommend that you and your friend air your grievances on one of the third-party forums, such as SLUniverse, where you can name names.
http://www.sluniverse.com/php/vb/

Next, just to summarize and clarify what a sim owner can/can't do:
- If the sim owner has object modify rights (which much be explitly granted to someone by the object owner), then he can take only transferrable objects into his inventory.
- The sim owner can return all items from the parcel, and they will appear as a single, coalesced object (usually with a very generic name) in the Lost and Found folder.
- The sim owner can alternatively delete all the person's items, but this is rare, even for real butthole landlords.
- The sim owner can also ban someone from the estate and leave the objects intact, but unless your friend had a REALLY nice build, something that could easily be used for a re-rental, it's very unlikely the sim owner would do that, unless he was intending to extort the former tenant, holding the objects hostage.

have someone go there who isn't banned and see if they are still there.
