I have some objects on one of my parcels that don't show up in the object list when I go to about land, indeed I can't return them, but they are very much there in the middle of the store.
Anyone ever had anything like this happen?

Also try logging out then in again. This can sometimes make ghosts go away.
I had a ghost object on my land that wouldnt delete, and log out/log in fixed it. Another posibility is they are particles being emitted by something nearby although its fairly easy to tell the difference between an object and a particle as particles are 2 dimensional always facing you. |

This is what appears to be a set of stairs from a club. I have no idea how they are there unless they are much higher in the sky and these stairs are just the bottom of a huge object but it's extremely odd that I can click on them and get details but they don't show up in about land/objects.

They won't show up (and you won't be able to return them) if the root prim is not over your land. Since you can bring up the object details, have you checked the coordinates of the root prim?

Oh I'm glad I saw this thread, I was building a riverboat this weekend and kept bumping into something. I turned invisible prims on and everything and could not find it, was driving me crazy

Oh I'm glad I saw this thread, I was building a riverboat this weekend and kept bumping into something. I turned invisible prims on and everything and could not find it, was driving me crazy That sounds more like ghost prims - the physics stuff on the server is acting like there's something there, even though it's not. Take a close look at 0,0,0 on the sim and see if you can spot stuff there. If there is stuff there, try to get it cleaned up then ask for a sim restart. |

A friend in-world tells me that the root of this object is on the land owned by your neighbor to the east. It's not owned by Biss but it's on his (his?) land. Maybe send Biss a note and ask him to return objects owned by somebody named Rocco. |
