Live Music Question??

Does anyone here know what you need to do live performances in SL....as far as programs/equipment.

Over TG I visited my brother & his family out in Colorado and to my utter surprise he called me yesterday and asked about SL. My bro is a musician....drummer first, but has played guitar and piano also for years....and he sings incredibly. All bias aside...my brother is gifted and he's finally putting together some of his work and planning on making CD's.
He was very quick to realize the potential in SL for him to gain exposure.

So...anywho (I'm so excited I can't stand it... my family as a rule, are not really computer junkies like me lol) I told him I would find out exactly what he needed to do the live streaming. And I also have to make him an avitar that looks like him LOL.

Did I mention how excited I am? LOL Seriously... he will blow people away, nevermind
his incredible musical ability...his singing voice is one in a million. (often caused jealousy and discontent among band members when he has played gigs over the years, lol but as a drummer he always preferred not singing anyway) hehehe

There's a load of technical FAQ, tips, How to's, etc. there you can read without joining. I imagina you'll find all the info you need there, plus more. If you want to ask questions you'd have to join (free).

It's also a great place to come into contact with the people in the live music scene in SL. Venue owners, managers, musicians, they all post there.

and really send him in, you would make a great manager/promoter for him but one of the great things about Live music in SL is the musician gets to interact with fans.
