Has anybody figured out how to do this?

One of the things that simply drives me crazy is trying to figure out if my sales are
flucuating because of something I did at my store, or something being wrong in SL--like lag or TP problems.

When traffic (by a counter) and sales drop, for a few days in a row, I have spent hours combing search to see if something has changed in the market (like price drops at other stores nore competition and so forth).

Is there any way to know if sales and traffic are down for everybody at the same time? If I had some statistics, I could correllate things and make some sense out of it all.

One thing that seems to be correct, is if SL is having some kind of issue (like transactions not posting) that it takes days for my sales to recover and get back to "normal". Is that because it takes fixes a long time to be passed around the world you suppose?

Any clues anybody?

So many variables. We try to figure it out by discussing it with each other here. Like on this thread:

its so random, sometimes a few days with no sales, then 3 days with 1500 L a day then back to the normal 300 to 800 a day

the only thing that i noticed that is consitant, is everytime LL shuts down on a WED for the 'upgrade' they used to do so often, as soon as LL came back on sales went thru the roof for rest of the nite

other then that it is pretty random for me

i DID notice a pretty big spike in sales with i put 3 of my alts in a box above the shop my - - 'camper bots'not really bots as they do nothing but stand there but it got traffic up from about 120 ish to 4500 in 48 hours and sales went thru the roof
