Does anyone know of any good places for quad av accessories? I have seen some with packs, etc, but an xstreet was ...well... useless.

Look where those specific avatars are sold. The majority of the saddles, packs, and other accessories for quad avatars are specificly made for a particular avatar - like a saddle that works with the Hoof-It! Horses. Adapting them to work with other maker's avatars can be difficult, because the avatar body hidden within the prim quad body will be shaped differently for each line of avatars, and the unused attachment points will differ.

You can also make your own accessories for quads. The trick there is usually one of finding a suitable attachment point that isn't already in use for prim parts needed for your avatar.

Sometimes what you have to do is copy a modifyable body part, and merge new parts to the copy, so for example you have one chest for a dog avatar that is normal, and one chest that has a chest harness and saddlebags over each shoulder added to it. Select the copied body part last when you link them together, to retain the same attachment location when you use the modified part.
