SF Designs has some very nice socks. They come in several different colors and the last time I checked they were actually FREE.

No.
There used to be virtual "stock exchanges". They were banned by Linden Lab because it was discovered that they were all massive scams. Do a search on "Ginko" for some unpleasant history. _____________________

There are a lot of people with very important, formal sounding "businesses" running around in avatar suits, saying a lot of buzzwords... that's for sure. All of it is sort of big~businessy sounding.
It's kind of funny... owning a real business myself, and knowing lots of people who own businesses 10, 100, and 1000x bigger than mine, all the SL stuff seems like a parody of what kids might imagine "important business people" to be like. But here's the real scoop: nobody, and I mean *nobody* truly generating any kind of real value long term needs to be anywhere near pretend stocks. If anyone decent mistakenly dips their toe in, they would get out fast and leave that stuff far behind. I can't even begin to remember all the people who asked if I needed help to get my estate going... as if I was ever going to part with ownership so people could gamble fast and loose with some kind of imaginary "stock value" of it all. Heh. Anyway, just my opinon but while these 'games' do seem to exist, they seem to be financial disaster~bubbles with no real economic drivers, just groups of investors that all hope to cash out and win big, ultimately at the expense of other investors. I guess the game is to make sure that there's always a bigger fool than yourself playing. _____________________

And just in case the OP is asking Stock in the company ...
Second life is owned by Linden Lab. AFAIK, Linden Lab is a privately traded company. That is, you can not just go to e-trade and buy a few shares. |

At least one person should respond with a serious warning that Stock Markets and Banks in SL are not only banned but Ponzi schemes that will take your money. Avoid both at all costs.

Someone should tell the creator that that's a pillory, though there do seem to be many other examples of that mistake on xstreetsl. By definition, stocks are a frame around the ankles, and may or may not bind the wrists. A pillory, on the other hand, wraps the neck and wrists, but not the feet. Or maybe we should just pillory all the poor merchants who stock pillories mislabeled as stocks among their stock in trade. |

Obviously we need more regulation of the stock market. . _____________________
