Depends on if you got the permissions and skills to fix the script thats buggering up.
All kinds of things can cause a script to crash.
This is an out of the blue guess, but I bet your script either ran out of memory or ran out of listen handles. Those are just two common reasons why your script will crash.
If you don't have permissions to edit the script...then you're SOL.
