Greetings all,

I have two parcels for sale in Greystone and classified ads for each. But the ICON does not show on either and hasn't since I listed them 3 months ago.

When I filed a trouble ticket, a helpful Linden proffered "Classifieds are twitchy". And closed the ticket. I notice that the icon does appear on other properties.

I created the ads standing on the parcels, and set the teleport.

At this point, it's more a matter of curiosity than need to be sure. I'd be grateful for any hints about whether there's something necessary that I'm not doing.

Or perhaps a better understanding of exactly what "twitchy" means!

Trust me, twitchy means something different to me than it does to the Lindens

Moving on....you might want to check in with CCTV Giant to see if he may be interested in your parcels. He has Shoe Fly Shoes on Greystone and just mentioned the other day he's getting a bit tight on prims.

I'm assuming the "twitchy" comment meant that the land map icons are a bit irratic. I open the map on my sim almost daily to see if any land has sold, anything new up for sale, idea of prices,etc. I always get the yellow color that shows parcels for sale, but usually only some of the parcels have the $ icon on it so I can click and see the price. And the weird thing is, it's not the same parcels all the time.

Are you asking about the classified icon not appearing on the parcel? Or the L$ "land for sale" icon?

In case of the first: we used to be able to see classifieds on the map (much like the event stars) as well, but that got turned off nearly 2 years now I think ago due "database concerns" and was never turned back on afterwards.

I don't think most people (including Lindens) would even know that was ever a feature we had but just in case that's what you meant. I think you're old enough to have been around then anyway

(As for the "land for sale" icon not showing reliably - that's been a bug for a year and a half

We had same troubles. I am not sure you are the region owner and you can restart the region, maybe it could be client bug too.

Can you copy the SLURL here to give as any clue? Would be best!

Or go to the spot you want to sell and click in the client menue on..

and copy past this info here like i do it with my viewer now...
