Ok so I was looking at the LindeX Market Data page here: https://secure-web6.secondlife.com/currency/market.phpNow I am not the smartest tool in the shed but under daily market history for 8/4/2008 2008-08-04 265 264 77,075,772 264 267.92 275 13 7,691 1,424,869 Close rate was 264 Min. trade rate if I read it right was also 264????????? This can not be right I bought just as a test $5.00 USD worth of L$ @ $L249/$1.00 Would that not mean that the Min. rate should show @ $L249? or lower if someone bought lower then me? Im going to do another test today and will let you know the results. Please if anyone has info on this let me know Dan |

Does that L$249 rate include the $0.30 transaction fee?
Whenever you buy, there is a flat rate 30 cent fee on the transaction, so your US$5.00 was really US$4.70, if I am thinking correctly...
Also, did you do a limit buy or a market buy?
Edited to add: I just had a look, and if you put US$5.00 in the Market Buy, you see a result of L$249/dollar and a total value of L$1245. This is including the 30 cent transaction fee, as indicated on that page. The true exchange rate is L$265/dollar, at 4.70 * 265 = L$1245.

Another note

That was a market buy yesterday Atashi
However today just with in the last 15 min. I bought
$L300 @ a rate of $L100/$1.00 (this was a limit buy)
so there for the low trade for today should show as
$L100/$1.00
As of the writing of this - todays low is still showing as $L264 that is NOT RIGHT! unles it has not updated yet

Your figures are including the 30 cent fee which is throwing off your calculation.
According to your transaction details on your limit buy, you bought L$300 for which you paid US$1.13, plus 30 cents.
L$300 / 1.13 = 265. The exchange rate is L$265.
