Hi guys, what a nightmare,I decided to rework my home today,I deleted the main building and returned all my stuff in about land. I got finished a few hours later and looked for my stuff in my inventory, nothing ! all gone,I went through it all and searched. went over to ask a Mentor for help,he said to enter a ticket,I cant ! I only have a basic account. I have full rights on the land and have done this before without any problems. In total I lost about 50 items, omg,I'll never replace it all.
Any ideas ?

It should be in Lost and Found, coalesced into one object. If you rez that object, they'll all reappear. Sometimes the object will also show up in the Object folder.
It may or may not have the name of one of the items you returned.

Good luck. I sold land three weeks ago and picked up my stuff in bunches - all of it dissappeared and never came back. During the rolling restart two Fridays ago $100 USD worth of no-copy items I owned dissappeared from the mainland never to be seen again. Live Help refused to help and Linden Lab gets to continue to delete items we paid real money for without being responsible for it.

lesson lernt, returning your own stuff to be rezzed later is often a bad idea, they will be, as ann said, all together in one item in your lost and found, the picture in your invintory will look like a stack of boxes rather than one box, and 9 times out of 10 is called object, especially if your a builder that constantly forgets to link things...like me best bet is to be in edit mode (ctrl-3) befor you rez the items as this often makes them easier to find especially if they cross sim or parcel boundries. good luck -Crunch

Have you cleared cache and/or manually deleted the cache folder from your hard drive? That should rebuild your inventory from the asset server.

Look in your inventory for ONE of the items, and you'll probably notice that the icon is the one that looks like 5-6 object boxes. Rez it to ground, and it'll probably rez all of the items you picked up in a batch. When you pick items up using shift, they appear in your inventory as one unlinked item.

From: Zak Sopwith went over to ask a Mentor for help,he said to enter a ticket,I cant ! I only have a basic account. You CAN submit a support ticket. I'm on a basic account and I've sent in a few support tickets before. One of my first support tickets referred to lost inventory. Support will then send you to a webpage that will tell you to try clearing cache and etc. Not exactly very helpful. But you CAN submit a support ticket.

Return hasn't ever been reliable, even before coalescing. Some things will make it back, some things won't. One gets everything back, someone else nothing. Sometimes it comes back a day or a week later, sometimes it's just gone for good. "Take" things that belong to you, wait for someone else to come pick it up if you care whether it returns to them and only use return when it doesn't belong to you and you don't care if it ever makes it back into their inventory.

Something I just discovered. Go to World - About Land. Objects tab
Under Object owners, "Refresh List", then click on your name. All your objects should be highlighted, if not, try "Show". You may find your stuff appearing in the air outside your building.

Rez it to ground, and it'll probably rez all of the items you picked up in a batch. When you pick items up using shift, they appear in your inventory as one unlinked item. If you try this, be very careful and make sure you have plenty of room and enough prim capacity to rez everthing that got coalesced. The objects will all try and rez back in the positions relative to each other that they were in previously. I lost a whole lot of items when one of them rezd over a boundary (with no create set on the parcel). I just got an error message, nothing rezd and the coalesced object was gone from my inventory.
