Need new boots

I changed my avie recently to not look like a barbie dool and more like my RL self. I am very happy with it, I actually look real now. Anyway I had some great boots that have no mod calves that now dont fit me. I IMED the creator but was told they wouldnt make them bigger as that would make them ugly  . Anyway after saying well thats their loss, considering how much i send in their shoes shore (and well it is a lot, i like shoes), they agreed to try , but if they thought they looked ugly well i can forget about it. Anyway I have decided i need new boots becuase I am not shopping there or wearing those boots or shoes again even if they do mod them to fit their idea of good looking... SO some suggestions for calf high boots?? something simple |

at enkythings, there are two pairs of boots (Pinson and Cupo) that come with three different calf sized prims...not sure if that's what you are looking for...

You may want to try Shiny Things, her boots are calf friendly, if not Try Bax Boots they have an in house fitter, who will adjust them for you.

Yes Bax Coen or BC Designs..i love her boots..
She is a very good person as well..Her boots are all i have worn since her very first opening..
she was the one with the very first boots with click sound and menu.

Shiny Things, definitely. I just got a pair of fab boots with colour changing laces.
Also, Biddie Boots (or Biddle Boots) - IM me if you want a landmark. Mainly with heels, I think, and some corking thigh-high boots.

I highly recommend Jaywalk. I bought a fatpack of the Liah boots in all colours (back when Lyra Muse was designing under the brand name Vamp) and they have been my fave boots ever since. You gotta love sl's vendors. After all they have our best interest at heart. And I bet they even exchanged the boots too. Or maybe helped you on another fit. Oh, did I forget to mention I meant this with great sarcasm? |

Dana i love nevermore boots but they are no mod and a little too small too... but they do have a guy version, so i the creator cant give me a mod version, or a slightly bigger boot bit i igure i can buy the guys and use their calf section if it isnt too big, and given their boots are cheap as it isnt a big deal to do
Ricardo, in the end it is their loss, i spend a LOT on shoes, and they were one of my fav shoe places, in the end i was given a new set of calve, but they still refused to make them bigger, but made them shorter so they didnt loook so ugly *rolls my eyes*
Anyway thanks or all the suggestions folks... i am sooo off boot hunting YAY

thanks swaffette, i already have two pairs of your boots, the suede ones in blue and brown... they were mod, and very easy to sort out to fit they were only a tiny bit small anyway....  you make very nice boots and in realistic sizes.... and great prices im off to peek at shiny things |

I've bought two pairs of Dela boots and they come with wider calf options. The boots available in the two loacations are high quality. I do plan to purchase more soon.
Check out the Events tab in Search for any clothing fairs, runway shows that might be coming up soon. There are some sims that specialize in clothing, shoes, accessories and those might be a good place to look at too. There is Haute Couture and I think there was one called Fashion(something like that anyway).

This is a solution from a guy who admittedly has one pair of boots and two pairs of shoes both in real life and SL. I found if the boot is simple enough - that is, it doesn't come with a lot of froufrou metal and leather useless strappy things hanging all over it - I can make socks under them the exact same color or very close. No one can tell my calves are sticking out in a couple of spots unless they're camming in closer than propriety warrants. Another solution is to get those boots that have the invisible prim around the calves and the upper is actually a scuptie. But you walk around looking like you have balloons for legs to other people until you fully rez. [Edit: You should post pics of your new non-Barbie shape. ] |

I wear Tesla boots... they are ankle boots but a little higher than the ankle... I adore them..
Not sure if this is what you are looking for... but mine are just gorgeous.
