Is there a way to delete a group that you have created in SL? I have an extra group I no longer want with no other members in it and wish to delete it, but am not sure how.
Thanks in advance for any assistance that can be offered.

I would think if you (assuming you're the only remaining member) leave the group, it should self-delete? Can't remember, as it's been a while since I did the same.

If you are the founder, you should be able to remove all the group members and then delete yourself to clear it. If you just kick yourself from the group without getting rid of the others, the group will continue to exist with no founder.

What I had to do was delete the other members, then after 24 hours I think it was... the group ceased to be a group any longer I couldn't just leave it as the owner, I had to do it the way I said. |

Groups must have 2 or more members to remain in existence. As was said, if your the only one left in the group, somewhere between 24-48 hrs later it should disappear...though someone I know It took a week, but that`s SL for ya |

This is the right answer, you cannot leave a group you founded, but if there are no other members it will take 72 hours to self-delete. You should get warning messages when this is about to happen. |
