I am looking for a good space for my little store and have travelled all around SL but could not find what I was looking for:

I am NOT looking for a hole in a mall, no booth or slot, I am looking for a real store in a place that is not just a blob in the SL world but a well designed shopping plaza or boulevard. Beautiful architecture and landscape is more important to me than traffic or good price per prim. (Although I DO have a limit of 200 to 300L per week)

Since the Rental Threads in the Classifieds part of this forum are not for discussion, I am posting here, asking if anyone knows a place like I just described. Any help is greatly apprechiated.

Thanks in advance !

How about a spot on the CLOTHES sim? type in CLOTHING or CLOTHES and see what others have done. You can also check out the FASHION sim. All of the spaces have beautifully decorated default tps in the middle of the sims.

Contact me in-game if you have any questions.

BTW, its only 1L per prim, way cheaper than any mall spot.

Some of the best places I've found were by accident....just jumping around interesting sims. Galveston TX is a very cool, classy looking sim with lots of great shop spaces......also Nueva Sicilia is really nice..... I'd steer clear of anything that says shopping and look in actual city sims..... try using key words like 'Rome' or 'New York'.... Some of the best places are nestled in sims that focus on duplicating real world cities.

I have to go along with Xplorer! I moved into Clothes sim today. I've already had sales, there's a lot of traffic, and it's a nice sim - new, but not just a hodge podge of messy shops. As a reseller of high-end clothing, I wanted to be selective where I moved to, and I'm very pleased with it.

Thanks for all the replies so far - indeed, I found a few places when i searched for words like Boulevart, Avenue or Plaza. I will try the fashion and clothing places next but... ummm... maybe I should have mentioned that I am selling furniture :-)

Bodies by Oh! Mall

Another shameless plug. Please stop by the Bodies by Oh! Mall. I have a number a large store space open that would give you space for your furniture. I already have one furniture designer in the mall, so having two would be good.

I think you'll find the space well constructed and not simply a row of cubes.

Butterfly Walk

Another shameless plug...

I have one store left in Butterfly Walk along from my main store . It's a few individual stores with an arts & crafts theme in a nice countryside area.

The one that's left is 50 prims, but I can adjust that if you need more/less.

I sell mostly low prim, modern funriture and a few special items. Speaking of shameless plugs, you can get an impression of my stuff here:

I looked at all the suggestions here and there were several places that were charming and pretty. Sadly, all of them were lacking a certain something for me, be it that they were out of my price range or that the store's weren't the way I imagined it or a number of other small things. I know, i am picky LOL. Anyways, I will keep looking so if you have more suggestions then please post them or contact me inworld.

Always happy to hear from you !

Allright, thank you everybody for helping me out with suggestions and all. I finally found a really great spot and was able to build my store just like I wanted it to be. Thanks to Xplorer for contacting me inworld and offering me the place. And (here comes the ultimate shameless plug) if you people want to know what all the fuzz was about, come visit me at my store:
