I've had a strange thing happen recently when I lock an object (so I don't accidentally delete it), but then can't unlock it again.
I've tested this out as follows:
1. Rezz a cube on my own land.
2. Edit it and set it to locked.
3. Now, as expected, I can't accidentally take it or delete it - I'm warned first. However, I *can* edit it and untick the "locked" box *usually*.
However, a few days ago, it didn't happen like this, and it's happening again tonight. The object is locked (I get warned if I try to delete it or take it), but I can't edit it - not even to untick the "unlock" box. It's all greyed out.
Any ideas?

im having some strange object issues as well..cant mod things that i made and left the perms as mod...cant set them for sale etc.

is it set to phantom at all..i can't remember if it is phantom or what but i always accidentially tick something and it makes it where i cannot unlock something.

Check if Tools>Select Only Movable Objects has been turned on. That will cause that behavior with locked stuff. I do that on purpose and then forget when I want to edit. |
