Question about land ownership

Im interested in upgrading to a premium account, but im unsure on how the land works, it says with the 9.95 account you can have up to 512 of land, but also when you upgrade to an extra $5 a month it says you can have 512 of land, my question is is that 512 of land TOTAL or does it add to the premium membership for a total of 1024 of land?

If you have a Premier account, you can buy a 512 sized plot of land, tier free, which means you buy it for how ever much it may be and you do not have to pay any additional monthly charges. Should you then decide to own a 1024 sized plot instead, you will only have to pay $5 a month in tiers , you will always have 512 for free (for tiers). You don't get the land, you have to pay for that yourself. Hope that makes sense.

Well first of all you'll have to buy the land.

However, it means you can have 512M of land without paying any tier fees. The tier fee prices are for any additional land.

Hi Bradley, you can own up to 512 sq m of land without paying any additional fees each month. (fyi, I would get the account quarterly or annually, to get a discount off the 9.95).

If you want more land above that 512 you have to start paying monthly fees called "tier" fees. The amount you pay is not per square meter but in a tiered structure with payments made at different thresholds.

If you own 512m of land, you pay nothing.
If you buy another 512 you pay an extra $5 USD per month. (a total of 1024)
If you own 1024 on top of your free 512 you pay $8 USD per month. (total 1536)

And so on and so forth.

If you choose to pay a certain amount each month and donate that tier to a group, the group can own 10% more land than the tier contributed to it. Tier is considered used (as if land was purchased) once donated, so you must be careful about how much land you own personally and how much tier you contribute to a group.

If you do not own land and donate 512 to a group, the group can buy 512+51 sq m of land, or 563.
If you own 512 personally and donate 512 to a group you are paying $5 a month because the tier donated to the group is considered used.
