Should I uninstall the 1.19 First? Install on top of it? Beside it?

It should automatically install directly over it, replacing the files.
That is, if you're referring to the 1.20 Main client that was just released. Client lines always install over previous versions. Main clients install over each other, RC clients install over each other, etc.
