I'm using the windlight viewer at the moment, the newest first look one. maybe that has something to do with it, but I'm asking.. cause I dunno whats causing it

I'm making a sculpty cushion/mattress thingy... but everytime I do, it disappears completely. Not just like goes invisible, the object is completely gone. Not in inv, trash, lost and found, nothing, it just disappears. I've checked and made sure temp wasn't on at all, and it only happens with this object far as I can tell.

UPDATE:: OK... its there... but impossible to click... I can select only with a drag select, which is getting other objects too...

Hi Okiphia, you might want to post this in the building tips forums where they know a lot more about making sculpties. It sounds almost like your sculpt texture is making the prim render far away from its "center" (sort of like the megaprim mountains Desmond Shang put in the no-man's land off of Caledon, that were still rooted in the real world). That could make it hard to find (if it rezzes somewhere other than where you are looking), but I'm not sure it would affect your ability to select the prim.

There's both a Building forum, as mentioned by Ava, with a slew of posts about sculpties, and there's a First Look forum, which is for discussion of the First Look viewers such as the Windlight one.

Bugs are most effectively reported in the Jira issue tracker.

I use the building forum often.

First look one.. ok didn't know about that one honestly..never scroll that far down...

However.. this is where you post things if you don't know where they go isnt it?

When I posted it I didn't know if it was bcause of the viewer, maybe because of the texture, maybe just a bug. Had never happened to me before, so.... I just plain didn't know. The one thing I knew it wasn't was the sculpty texture itself, as I have used it repeatedly to build beds.

So... viewer, normal bug, or texture? Had no idea..

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

don`t work with the WL viewer, it`s f`ed and stuff dissapears constantly infront of ur eyes, use the normal client and it will all be there (including copies u created again)

WL is a pritty picture but that`s it, even more unstable then the servers (btw, rotate snap bug is back INC sporadic snaps at the steady 90 degrees...)
