Does anyone know if selling lindens ($) via Lindex on this website is restricted to just those players with premium membership?

Or is it available to everyone that has linden to sell?

that's what i thought. friend of mine is having difficulty..though he's a business owner he's on basic. we wanted to make sure it was open to all

I've been a basic free member since July 27th this year. I finally added payment info today for the sole purpose of selling $L's. I still wasn't able to, so without fully researching the problem, decided i must need to be a premium member... Did that...still not able to sell lindens. I saw something about waiting 14-27 days? Is that what's wrong?

You don't need a premium account to sell L$, but you need to have payment info on file AND your account has to be at least 2 weeks old.

Yes. LL restricts your trading limits during the waiting period, to discourage the use of stolen credit cards to buy and sell $L.

I sell L$ on Lindex pretty frequently, am Basic, and have never been Premium. Payment info on file is all you need, though if you want money in small amounts or fairly fast, you do also need to establish a PayPal account. PayPal does not have to be the payment method that you have on file. You just need a valid PayPal account that they can send the funds to. They charge a $1 USD fee to send money from your accounbt balance to PayPal, and there is no minimum for what they will process.

If you don't have a PayPal account, you can only get your money by having them make a bank check or international wire transfer, and they won't cut a check for less than $100 USD, and then charge a $10 USD fee to process the check.

The two-week old thing is a common misconception... it used to be that way, but LL changed it a few months back.

The two-week timer does not start until you PAY something to LL... your first "billing transaction". You can do this just by buying $1 worth of lindens on the Lindex, or by paying for a premium membership if you want to do that.

Once you do that first billing transaction, where you pay LL something, your timer will start and your trading limits will start increasing. Two weeks later you should be able to sell lindens on the Lindex. :)
