But I don't know who else to ask......so I'm risking a totally off topic(SL) technical question juuuust in case one of you techies out there can help! There is a bit of an urgent issue going on here IRL....... QIF files???? Anyone know of a viewer for windows that WORKS!??? I have documents that I need to open and print and absolutely othing I'm finding on the web is working to open them. I'm ready to pull my hair out here. Ok...just to keep this SL legit......was also wondering where to find really well done dark skins?? I looked everywhere yesterday to get skin for a project I'm doing.....and aside from Skin Within......and MM (who I thought would have closed their doors by now!)...I found nothing that looked ethnic....just uber tan (and gross, basically) ok.... I'm done.

I *think* QIF is opened by QuickBooks or Quicken.

This is one I put together for a project. The skin was a freebie from the Globe Hunt, but I can drop you a LM inworld if you want to see the rest of their skins. eta: oops, the image didn't show...

LOL beautiful skin!! And yes....I knew the files were QIF......they're from our bank......and I did download the Money software.....to no avail.....I got error messeges when I tried to open them. But...no worries...we'll deal with our stuff another way. Thanks for the input guys!! Now....back to skin.....I ended up getting a beautiful set (forgot where already lol) but I'd seen some amazing pics in flickr that featured avatars with incrediblely beautiful dark skin.....*sigh* Just wondering. Ok.....next question....aside from...Armidi, Damslefly, Cake, Gurl6, Calico, ETD LOL who makes really outstanding hair??? It seems there hasn't been any new, really great hair creators in a while.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.
