Why I didn't receive my camping money?

First when I looked, I was earning like 19L. A while later I looked again, my avatar stood up itself and I earned nothing! So is there a earning limit???

Each camping spot is owned by someone different. They are not Linden placed. If you have a problem with a camping chair, right click on it, find the name of the owner, and contact them directly to ask why.

Chances are, the owner's account ran out of money.

It could be just sl acting up. It used to happen to me occasionally with camping chairs and sploders - the money just never arrives. The last half-hour or so I have been unable to detach objects (I just logged out with a beach hut attached to my hand lol) so this is a possibility.

There's not a lot you can do if this is the case. A relog sometimes makes the money arrive, sometimes not. I know it's not much consolation if this is your only income at the moment, but L$19 is pennies - I'd just write it off and hope for better luck next time.

p.s. don't be ashamed of camping, lots of us started that way before we trusted LL enough to give payment info. Having said that, it is very much worthwhile buying some L$ if you can - it will free up lots of time to go and spend it all

well I sold scripts to 3 folks... that pop up a little window that looks like a pay window... on a timer...

But doubt money tree island uses them, they were no mod/no transfer

While you were away from the keyboard, someone put a prim with a special hacked texture on it over your avatar, and it intercepted the Lindens that were supposed to go to you. This texture (UUID starts FEED-C0ED-BABE-C0FFEE...) can't be removed from the database because there's a secret backdoor in the "Linux" database language Linden Labs uses that keeps reinstalling it every time they upgrade the C++ compiler.

ok, now for the real answer....

The owner of money island had his account hacked and his avatar was suspended prior to Linden labs Fraud squad investigating it. In the meantime, the owner is now creating a few accounts to hold money in different accounts so that the hackers can not drain his account .... again! Were trying to seal up the security hole that was created this weekend.

Money Island will make good on your $19L, I promise. Now that I have your name, I'll send it myself when I log on after school.

PS. yes, there is a earning limit and a system in place that prevents people from just sitting there ava down and walking away from there PC. People that use there accounts in this fashion are sometimes confused as a bot and measures are taken.

you might want the one I had that uses a random number x10 as set av position on sit... sit on the camp pad get ported a random direction on all 3 axis

Sorry for the camping jars not working right ... my account was on hold due to someone trying to hack in... everything is back to normal and working fine.
