If I want to 'hide' from someone on my Friends list - I can tick the box that says not to show if I'm Online... and when unticking the 'xxxx is Offline' box appears
BUT
If your profile is selected thru search or even thru the Friends list - it still says 'Currently Online' !!
Any ideas how to hide completely ??

Short of using a secret alt, you cannot really hide your online status. Despite the friends list goofery (which is still useful if you don't want to flood your friends with those blue popups), online status is public.

Use an alt. Even if there was a way of setting so that you could nor be seen, LL would break it inthe next release, and then fix it, and then break it again.
