Hi.
Is there a setting I can change on the new viewer that lets me hide the land lines from being seen through objects? It's as if objects are slightly transparent. However, I still want to see the property lines when only the land is exposed.

I have the same issue.
The alpha-ordering bug has expanded to solid prims now. Running an ATI Radeon 9600 XT Dual with up to date Omega drivers. |

Seeing Property Lines Through Buildings and Avatars

I have the same problem and have tinkered with the settings in the viewer with no luck.
If I have "View Property Lines" checked off, then I'm seeing those property lines through people, buildings, prims... just about everything... it's a very annoying thing. |

This is a flaw with the new viewer and ATI cards.
Thank God Nicholaz' viewer still works... _____________________

The same problem exists with Intel 915GM series chipsets for laptops.

And NVIDIA cards.
Not only can you see property lines through walls, you CAN'T see them through Linden water. This has been a known bug in WindLight since Day One. _____________________

You can see land lines ghosting thru land now too, standing on one side of a hill I can see the lines on the other side of the hill, faint but there.

I only turn them on if I need them for building or if I want to see the layout of a plot of land I'm considering for purchase. Otherwise I keep them off. What's the point of having them on while just out and about?
And, while building, it actually can help to see them through things. If you don't need them, turn them off. |
