Hello everybody, thank you in advance for at least reading my thread. Im posting because I have a little problem, a teaser really. I bought 3 plots of land they measured 512m each and I never bothered to join them when the option was available as my prim count took into consideration all 3 plots. But recently I was given a jukebox and have some sounds that I would like to be heard on all 3 plots and so would like to join my plots. But it seems that the option to join plots of land has disappeared from my option sheet. can any of you wise people tell me if this is just a temporary blip ? Or does the option to join land disappear completely after a set time ?
Thank you in advance

"option sheet" sounds like the wrong place to find it. It's accessible from Edit Terrain. (Or was that what was meant?) Anyway, it doesn't disappear after a set time.

It still works - used it last night. You need to select across the different plots and select join from the Edit. Unfortunately, you cannot join acrss servers - which I just learned much to my displeasure.

I only seem to be able to select 1 plot at a time. Am I doing something wrong ?

start with your first parcel, click on it and go into Edit Terrain. Click on an area close to the border with the second parcel to select it. You should see a 16m square highlighted. Drag the square over the border of the two parcels so that it straddles the parcels, some land in each parcel should be selected. The "Join Land" button should now be bright blue and able to be used. Rinse and repeat on the next parcel.

You don't have to select the whole of two plots to join them. You just need to go to their mutual border and drag a little piece of one to extend a little bit into the other plot. Then the "Join" button becomes activated in your terrain edit box, and when you press it and say ok, both plots should be completely joined. Does that help the issue?
