SL's search has that (it's using Google's software), but it has a much smaller pool of pages to work from. So, the list of alternatives doesn't fill out to anywhere near the same extent as it can when the whole web is being indexed :/

I just wish search worked. Period.
Type in "mens clothing" and what do you get? WoMENS clothing. Type in "male clothing" and what do you get? Womens clothing. I haven't figured that out yet.

In the 'Places' search, sure, but if you use All, it seems to do pretty well at not assuming you forgot a couple of letters. The old search is simpler, and looks just for anything containing the string 'male clothing', which 'female clothing' does, for sure. Just like if you search people for 'John Smith' you get John, John211, Johnathan, and so on, because it does contain those two words. However, search All and you'll only get one resident progile link, John Smith, along with some places and such.

The way most people spell here, I'm astonished anyone ever finds anything in search. Pep (Maybe they are all consistent in their misspellings? ) PS I can understand your particular need for such facilities, Ciera

From: Porky Gorky Same with wikipedia, annoying At least with wikipedia, you can work around it's shortcomings with google by adding site:en.wikipedia.org as one of your search terms, or logging into google and going to http://www.google.com/experimental/ to set en.wikipedia.org as a preferred site.
