Ok, I have a friend that is staying on my sim while he is getting back on his feet in sl. He was away due to a lifethreathening illness. Well he asked can he rent from me. It just a house on my sim no particular lot size. He has full access of the sim.

My question is, what is a fair prim allowance for a weekly rental of 1000L? I have an openspace so the prim allowance is 3750.

Thanks All

I would just charge him what you pay for it. But that is just me.

Your monthly fee is $75, if you bought your sim direct from LL.

Convert to L$ equivalent:
75x264x1.035 = L$20,493 per month.

Determine cost per prim:
L$20,493/3750 prims = L$5.46/prim

For L$1,000 per month, your friend's share of the sim's prims would be:
L$1,000/5.46 = 183 prims.

Thank you all very much. He offered to pay 1000L/week that means based on Lindal's calcs it would be about 700 prims. Hmmm think I will just offer him my cabin on mainland it a 2048 lot 448 prims.
