Hmmm SL with be down 'Temporarily' - open to differing interpretation thatt word methinks.

So who can guess what time (will it even be today) that the grid will be back up.

One thing for sure is i bet i wont be getting back in world today :-(

Well I had a date happening this morning and have to go out on a rl thing in 4.5 hours... So my bet is 4.4 hours.

Poor grid, didn't like not having its regular scheduled shutdown on a Wednesday so the asset server decided to shat itself instead to give us a break.

You do realise, of course, that this is part of Linden Lab's environmental policy? Whilst the grid is down, servers aren't under load and thus consume less power. Tens of thousands of computers also get switched off around the world as residents are forced to find other forms of entertainment in this scary 'real life' place. Globally, that's a lot of reduced carbon.

Ugh...always when I actually have time to sit down and relax....I pop in to see the grid is down.... now I guess we'll all have to find something productive IRL to do. *sigh*
