Are slot machines illegal in SL?

Are slot machines illegal in SL? They're against the SL ToS. Legality is a complex issue, depending on the location of the player, the location of the servers hosting the in-world slots etc. |

As I understood it the slot machines or any device that is used for gambling is disallowed.
I had friend who made tiny slot machines for Third Life that I made one into a ATM as spoof but they aren't scripted they don't take or pay money.
So they be not okay to have the TOS states its if its used for game of chance or gambling then its illegal but having slot machine sculpture that just sat there wouldn't be against the TOS,
Does that make any sense?
I don't think there is such a thing as too many questions in humble opinion just some people forget what residence answers is for or being grumpy....I don't get if it really bothers people to answer questions why they even bother unless they just want to complain. LOL
