oh dear, now i've gone and done it!
i pulled something out of my inventory and onto a prim at a very high elevation, and it disappeared. i've tried everything (incl ctrl-alt-T). i can't find it. any tips would be appreciated.

It's probably at z=768m, directly below where you rezzed it.
I did that a lot yesterday, rez things at 4000m and poof! They're all down at 768m.

Try dragging to select?
If not your land, ask the owner to come and return it, or just wait for autoreturn?

i didnt know wut to look for, and it ended up being this little teeny tiny earring floating up at about 700m.
