I'm on Help Island Public. Ok, this is what I can see:
it looks like an imminent sim logout - everyone is still moving (on the spot), but there is no chat. I can IM and see my chat appear in the IM but no reply. I can start a new IM with someone online - ditto, I can type in, but no reply.
It's been like this for 3/4 hour, but I haven't been logged out through 'inactivity'.
There is nothing on the Blog, but there is a list of my friends who are currently online.
One more thing - I got the Map up and tried Go Home - the tp bar crawled across the screen but it didn't complete.
Anyone an idea of what is happening?

I've had to log in and out a few times briefly today to send things in-world or reply to IM's and had trouble getting in, the old "something unexpected has gone wrong" thing, if that helps.

Is the sim a bit reddish in the mini-map? Sounds like your client has lost communications with the sim and you need to relog.

No replies, being able to turn but not walk are sure signs of a lock-up. Mini-map going red is the last sign. When in-world, it's my signal to relog, maybe to another sim. Don't know what to recommend if you're on Help Island.

yes - minimap was reddish - I did relog and got back in ok, thanks for help.
a friiend said she had had major problems logging in today, so there have been problems anyway it seems

a friiend said she had had major problems logging in today, so there have been problems anyway it seems I think one of the hamsters bruised a foot and had to be taken off the wheel. Welcome to SL Tid
