Somebody mentioned this on the blog, the purchase price of full sims has been raised to 1200 USD in the landstore. https://land.secondlife.com/en-US/land-detail.php?region_id=57bb0953-eaa4-490a-9615-4b2cd71be1ae®ion_type=FULL_REGIONIt used to be 1250 USD Then it changed to 1675 USD Then it changed again to 1000 USD And now it changed again to 1200 USD It comes with a 200 dollar prefab this time. *** homesteads are now 450 USD in setup.

If you read the rest of the comments on the blog, without the prefab they're still $1000.

I've seen that price increase, but no announcement to go along with it.
However, it would seem that this is NOT an increase to the price of the basic Private Estate product. Instead, you are paying the extra $200 for a pre-built, themed estate. So it is a "value added" product, not a "price increase".

Yes it seems to be only for the prefabs you have to pay more. Homesteads also come as prefabs which also are extra in setup.

Yep. The prefab sims (4 designs) cost $200 bucks extra in setup fees, and they will set them up on either a Regular or a Homestead sim. The usual restrictiona apply for Homesteads, that you must first own a full sim before they will deign to sell you a Homestead.
