Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Last night I started up SL and it began clearing my cache, even tho I had not set it to do so. Once I logged in, it seemd I was in between versions. Many of my preference settings were changed, my tool bar is different, performance is basically in the gutter. I un-installed and re-installed but got a lot of errors that it couldnt open files to install, mostly the mozilla files and a ton of drivers. Of course I submitted a ticket but the response rate there is as bad as a really, really laggy sim.

I'd uninstall it, then do a search for the remaining SL files - uninstall doesn't remove them all - and manually delete them. Then try a fresh install.

This is a handy utility to have for uninstalling. It finds all he leftover junk for you, and lets you decide what to delete.

He he. A true "Killer App". It comes in handy when I reinstall Windows and have to clean out all the DellWare.
