Can someone post a checklist for setting permission for clothing insdie a prim? I've reset the permissions for the texture of the prim, the prim, the clothing items and the texture for the clothing items to yes M/C, no T. But when I'm done the items are sold with no permissions. I am missing something, help! :) I've been reboxing for hours.... lol

right click on the clothing in your inventory, select properties and choose the permissions that you want. If you have any prim parts to the clothing, rez them in world, edit and assign permissions. Take them back into inventory and right click and check the properties to make sure (I had a few last night that weren't working right).

Rez a prim, and place the items inside the prim. Choose whether you wish to sell as 'original' 'copy' or 'contents' (if I am selling clothing I sell it in folders so I would choose 'contents').

Mark the box for sale, and enter the amount.

If you are selling the contents of the box, then the permissions on the box really don't matter (I always use transfer but they aren't buying the box so w/e)

If you are selling a 'copy' of the box with the items inside, then you will want to set permissions on the box itself.

Do I need to change permission on my texture? I've done all that, but they are still selling as no permission. There are no prims on the clothing, so it should be pretty simple. Argh! :)

99% of textures sold in world on their own are sold with full perms anyways so buildiers can use them. are these your own textures you made?

They are textures I have created and uploaded. I changed the permissions to yes M/C no T. Should I allow transfer of the texture as well? Thank you! :)

I can see why you would want to protect them from resale then. now textures on a prim, I am not 100% sure of this so test it with an alt if you have one or a close friend if you do not but..
I do not think you can do much with a texture that is on a prim you buy, you do not have a copy of the actual texture in your inventory so i don't think you can copy that texture onto a new prim for example.
Ive never made a real effort to do this but there have been times I have tried to use the eye dropper to sample things I own that I bought and it doesn't work.

If you are not actually including the textures in the package, then the texture permissions won't matter as they will not be getting the texture

If you are selling the item and the box it is in (in otherwords the sell is set to copy) and you want all the items to have the same permissions, just set all pieces to the same permissions.

Then have an alt buy it and see what the permissions are when the alt owns it
