Hello All,
I try to define a name for a new SIM, and try to find a way to see somewhere a list of all sim names currently available. Is this possible or do i have to try all my ideas while the order process, and hope that the name is not already used ?

Any proposal are welcome

The easiest thing to do is to open the map in the client (Ctrl-M), type in your planned sim name and see if another sim with that (or a similar) name already exists. You don't need a full list to do that. Any such list would be historic, anyway.

I might also Suggest Typing your sim name ideas into the ALL search as well. That will also return region names. Also will help you find business names that might perhaps be using the same idea as you that might cause a conflict in the future

Good point, DD! We got a recent case here where a sim owner was expropriated by LL based on a (claimed) trademark violation in the sim name.

To be on the safe side, a US trademark search may be advised, too. It'll only be relevant if there is some similarity to the intended use.

Here is the link:

Thank you for all your feedback. I did the search in the order web page and got always a free or occupied.

And yes trademarks is a good point, but I have choosen a generic name from the nature, so I should be on the save side.

And the SIM is already live in the meantime ;)
