Hi all,
I have a skybox placed at 500m. I took an LM and can tp to it without problem, but everyone else I give the LM to fails, rezzes outside the box and falls to the ground. Even them taking their own LM (after I've rezzed in the box and tp'ed them) fails to work.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to correct this?

Could the parcel access be set to "tp to arrival point", instead of "tp to anywhere"?

From: Lindal Kidd Could the parcel access be set to "tp to arrival point", instead of "tp to anywhere"? Oh... Thanks Lindal. The Teleport Routing was set to 'Landing Point' so I've changed that to 'Anywhere' now. All I need now is a guinea pig to come online I guess that as land owner I can tp anywhere regardless of that setting?

All I need now is a guinea pig to come online I guess that as land owner I can tp anywhere regardless of that setting? Correct. The constraint imposed by a parcel landing point is ignored by the parcel owner. Likewise, the individual who last owned a parcel before it was deeded to a group is also immune to the effects of a landing point on that parcel. Which raises an interesting point. Deeded property and deeded objects both lose any *visible* evidence of who owned them before they were deeded. They show the group as the new owner. Yet a deeded parcel knows who the previous individual owner was, and gives them certain rights reserved for parcel owners. And deeded no-copy objects, if returned by a parcel owner, are returned to the individual who deeded them. So in both cases, the asset server retains that trace back to the actual last individual owner. Even if we can not see it.

From: Peri Verino I guess that as land owner I can tp anywhere regardless of that setting? Yes. I have to remember to update my landing points everytime I move my shop, cafe, or home... Otherwise I end up with skydivers... Using landing points is still handy to route people to the key things - especially if you move something and need to override old landmarks.

For those wtf moments: If we're talking about land deeded to a group, the the 'owner' is the group. The group owners will get sent to the landing point, just like anyone else.

I read the subject and thought it said that skybox landmarks were FALLING. Needless to say that confused me until I read the thread. LOL
