I'm making a rezzable DJ Booth with several features in it.....one is a rezzable tv and radio for the DJ to use.......
Can anyone tell me how I should do the settings so that when I sell/give it to someone they have the ability to control the tv or radio and also change the stations they get in the script?
Thank You

Mod, Copy, No Transfer

That way the buyer can adjust the object to his/her own size and change the scripts.

Problem with scripts is that if you can read them you can copy and sell them as yours with a simple cut and paste.
If you do not want people to read the scripts, you need to make the scripts to get the settings from a notecard, which can be full perms.

Uh, well, not no-transfer for things that control parcel streams: The buyer will very often have to deed those objects to group in order to work on group-owned land.

Some "TV" and "Radio" manufacturers sell two separate (or separable) components, one of which has Transfer perms so it can be deeded to a land-owning group (or transferred to an individual landowner), the script in which controls the parcel streams; the other component is a kind of "remote control" that others can use (perhaps DJs in this case), with Copy and Transfer perms (but only works with the stream-controller, so the remote control itself is free to copy and distribute.) It's not necessary to use remotes, however; an end-user modifiable access list, or group-only script, can achieve the same effect for most applications.

Modify perm is trickier. You probably want at least the set of available streams to be modifiable, so that means the notecard with those streams--as well as the containing prim--must have Modify permission. The script(s), presumably not, unless you mean to open-source them (which you very well may, actually, because perfectly acceptable stream control scripts are full perm in Library items and all over the grid and scripting libraries).

Whatever you decide, you'll want to get an alt or accomplice to test the permissions before selling the item.

Since land media settings can only be changed by the owner, or owning group, Qie's answer is a good one. SOMETHING is going to have to be transferable, and there will have to be a way to change settings.
