Green dot, no one there!

I have a green dot on the map and my radar picks up a name and a distance, but there's no one there! And I looked really thoroughly, believe me.

Any ideas?

I have seen that quite a few times in the last couple of months in the Blake Sea. Can go right up to where they are on sensor and nothing there. Must be some ghosting variant.

Thanks, but there's no "invisible" prim. No invisiprim. Nothing.

Well, it must be some kind of artifact ghost thingy. It's not doing anything that I can tell (I hope) - it's just ... there.

Same thing happened to me, a while ago. My visitor just hung around for a few days, 20m above the ground. It's, sort of, similar to phantom prims and he/she should disappear next time the sim's reset.

I've seen that happen where if you went a few sims away and teleported to the green dot you'd see a ghost avatar drift across the sim and off into the void, but if you tried to approach them in normal space they'd be gone by the time you got into sensor range. It's probably a zombie child avatar. A sim reset clears it up.

Currently, there's one of these hanging out in Sulu.

Green dot on the map. Nothing on any of my scanners, and nothing appears on a slow climb all the way up to 4096m. I know avatars can go higher than that, but it's been there for days now.
