metaverseink BOT - cannot be ejected or banned!

There is a metaverseink.com bot at the landing place of my parcel and it cannot be ejected or banned! There is something on the metaverseink website about having to add the bots names to the ESTATE ban list in order to stop them coming but how are we supposed to do that on mainland!??

I have contacted them asking for them to remove it - but does anyone else have any experience with these bots and did anyone find a way of actually getting rid of them from your land or preventing them?

and isn't it a bit worrying that these things cannot be ejected / banned in the normal way!??

Turn damage on and kick it's butt with anygun or weapon you got :)
It's your land and if damage is enabled it's designated combat zone in my view :)
You could always put a warning combat zone sign sign up behind it and take a photo before shooting it. :)
Seriously Not sure why ban eject doesn't work on mainland sounds like maybe you should get a Linden to look at it.

thx for that - can you recommend a thing I can use? I have no weapons!

preferably to kick it off the sim or return it to it's home?

--edit----update--------------

I have tried some of the offensive tools on my Mysti-tool (such as kill or toss) and they have no effect on the bot! (yes I enabled damage and push on my land)

Have you tried walking directly into it and pushing it along (and off your property) as you walk?

Isn't circumventing the land controls a violation of the TOS?

As far as getting the bot banned by the estate - LL is the estate owner of the mainland. I'm sure an AR would provide the requested bannage.

I wonder if it could be a ghost, requiring a sim restart?

And oh great another intrusive unneeded "Opt out" search company. Will have to look them up in world so I can boycott any products they are associated with.

If it isn't a TOS violation then it darn well should be.

Post the location here and turn damage enabled on your land, you will have plenty of volunteers show up to orbit or blow up the bot. :)

Are you the only one who can see it? Is it there after relogging? If others can't see it, it's not really there, your viewer just didn't hear the rumor of it's leaving ;) and a relog or maybe even TPing away and back will clean up those things.

Can others see it? "Unoccupied" AVs left around from a glitch are ghosts, and I don't think there's any way to make them go away until the sim is restarted either?

When it used to happen more, people would play games pushing them around or piling them all together in a certain spot on a sim. :)

Not all ghosts can be pushed around. The ones that sometimes appear in my store can be walked through by me, and only I can see them. It's when my internet gets very slow and my viewer doesn't receive the data that the av has gone.

Well - a sim restart (having pestered Live chat who kindly got in touch with LL governance team) got rid of the bot - seems it got stuck in the logout process ( huh!?? )

That'd be my bet, too.

Bots don't have magical powers - I don't think there's anything they can do to prevent themselves from being ejected from a parcel.
