I do a lot of modeling for my store, and when I save snapshots to disk they all get saved to same folder which gets hard to deal with when hundreds of pics are involved. How can I reset the save location for the snapshots? I notice every time I log in, it resets, and I can pick a new save folder. Is there another way around this that I'm just not seeing?

I'm not sure there is a way to reset the location without relogging. But as someone who takes WAY too many snapshots (some days hundreds!) I can tell you how I manage them. Upon login, when I take the first snapshot, I name it according to today's date. Today's snapshots will all start as "20080214". I can sort the folder by date to find the newer/older stuff. then, before things get out of hand, deal with today's photos. Or put them in a folder to deal with later.
As a lot of the cartel knows, I upload a lot of my "keepers" pretty much immediately. Sometimes before I take another batch. My routine: -Click the folder (which is open) -Right-click the image, choose Open With>Photoshop -Crop in Photoshop -Resave as JPG -Return to SL -Upload cropped image -Change perms on the image so it's copy/mod -Give to the subject of the snapshot -Click on the folder again -Delete the original snapshot(s) If you get into a routine, it goes fast, and things stay pretty tidy. And, really, there's nothing like the surprise when someone gets a snapshot they aren't expecting. ![]() |

I do not like your tone. It has an ephemeral, whinging aspect.
