Red Haze

Many of my objects that I rezz that have glass especially look like they are covered in a red haze. Don't know if its my vid card, preferences or what. But it me as when I see other objects by others they r ok. Seeing parts of sl through rose colored glasses.

You have turned on "Highlight Transparent" in the view menu, which covers all 32-bit textures with a red beacon. Unckeck that in the View menu.

It's something you set in view, either highlight transparent or some other highlight setting in your view menu. It's not your vid card.

Also check the 'View->Beacons-> ....' options. You may have selected to show (via View->Beacons->Render Highlights, which is also on that menu) objects which have scripts, objects that have Touch enabled, etc. - which may be why only _some_ of your objects are showing that red 'haze'.
