Island offline - Will I get my stuff back?

The island I was living on suddenly got taken offline. The owner seems to have done a bunk. Will I ever get my things back or are they gone for good now?

Put in a support request. If you know your neighbours, get them to do so as well.

LL have in the past temporarily ressurected islands in similar circumstances for people to recover stuff.

Why they can just to a sim wide return of prims as a matter of course before taking an island permanently offline, I've no idea!

Well, I can think of one reason. It's always possible the person late on their payment may catch up and want their intact island back. Hard for LL to do that if they had returned everything. But I agree the current system is a bit awkward. LL should at the minimum send notice to everyone affected of a pre-arranged time and date to come get their things. It would be a more proactive approach.
