Library disappeared out of inventory?

In the past the library has gone wonky over time. Its often suggested to move all the items from the library into your main folder to prevent mysterious disappearances  Its been that was as long as I have been in SL

Mine has been gone since the 10th, actually. I haven't logged in this morning, so I don't know if it's back. Kinda freaked me out, because I didn't *knowingly* do anything to delete it...but things had been acting a bit strange that day, so I assumed it might have been the cause. Will it reappear on its own, or is there a place we can find a new one?

My alt still has his Library. (The little hussy, thinks he's so big).
Is there a quick and dirty method for someone who's relatively new, to copy that library into some kind of package and leave it for the real me? Or can I send the items to the real me? (I'm embarrassed to admit, but I still don't know how to send someone an object unless they're standing in front of me -- I also haven't figured out how to box up items -- I wasn't expecting to need to know that so soon!).
Folsom, sorry to hear you have the same problem. Maybe I can meet up with you with my alt, and we can figure it out!

Yes, mine disappeared a few days ago...there were some good textures in there that I was using for bedsheets  I think you can give people stuff by dragging the inventory item into the first tab panel of their Profile. There is a field for it. If anyone can give me their textures directory in Library that would be great. |

I won't be back in-world until late tomorrow, but if you IM me, I'll send you all the Library textures in a box format so you can ahve them all in one transfer to your inventory.

I tried transferring from alt back to me and could never get it to work (says I can't when the other isn't online -- so how do store owners send me replacements and such when I'm not online?) I know everyone uses it and you see it everywhere, but I love those ATOLL textures, and woods (bubinga and cherry) that come in the library. -Avion |

I must have done something good in a past life. My library is back!
I wanted to update, so that others who have had this problem know that it's probably not permanent.
It's *possible* that my alt sending me those textures "triggered" something. So try sending yourself something from the library, from an alt account, to see if that fixes it.

How Can We Transfer Library Items?

I'm trying to get the plants and landscaping stuff from the Library. My Library disappeared, so I'm trying to get it from my alt, who still has a Library. But my alt is not permitted to put down any plants on land she doesn't own and when she makes a box and puts them all in it, I'm not allowed to copy anything out of it (even though all the perms have been checked off). Direct transfer of Library items from one av to another just gets me some error message.
Geez, this is frustrating! Has anybody managed to get any Library items from someone else? How did you do it?

I just logged in, after few hours, and discovered that my Library had misteriously reappeared.
So maybe it's just a matter of Linden servers, and everyone will have it back.
