Please Help - SL Viewer 1.23 Question.

Hello Everyone,

Please could someone help me out here, this is my first post to the forum and not sure how to go about this.

I downloaded the new viewer and on running it i have a serious issue with the fonts, it looks as though the letters are erased at the botton only showing the top portion of the fonts. I tried to change font size and it makes it worse. I have read about an issue with ati graphic cards and i installed the latest drivers to no avail. All viewers that are built on version 1.23 have the same font issue for me so I am on 1.22 which is perfect but with the adult implementation on the 15th i suppose i need to change.

Does anyone know if there is a work around to restore the old fonts into the new viewer or if there is anything i can do to correct this. Any help greatly appreciated.

Tried the snowglobe viewer instead? It is on the right side of the download page.

This is a well-known issue, particularly with ATI cards (though the issue affects some nVidia configurations as well).

I have the same problem and tried the Greenlife Emerald and the RLV viewer. It doesn't matter, the problem remains.

I dont have the problem when I dont run Second Life in a window, have set the aspect ratio to automatically detect and the screen size to exactly the size of my flat screen which is in my case 1280 x 1024.
