I have been trying to fix this for two days. Hope someone here can assist. I think it all started when I was changing the color of a color-change necklace. There is blue beacons and red beacons emitting from me on poseballs, sexy walk, certain jewerly and even environment items like my dog. I put a ticket in, but nothing.
I have tried completely deleting all SL files and reinstalling. This is not a control alt T issue, but seems similar. When I wear certain necklaces I cant even see my head there is so much royal blue emitting.
Even my SL dog has the colors coming from him. Does anyone have a cure? I am desparate. Thank you.

You've accidentally turned on update beacon. To toggle it off ctrl-alt-shift-U

Thank you very much, but it didnt fix the problem. I have hit control alt shift U and it didnt go away. so I tried control shift U, and the problem is still there. I've really done it this time

It seems that you have to have the Advanced (or Client) menu enabled in order for that keypress to work. Ctrl-Alt-D will enable it. You'll see Show Updates about 2/3 of the way down that menu.
